An armed robbery attempt was foiled at the Kahnor village branch of the State Bank of India in Rohtak in Haryana by security personnel on Friday.
According to details available, three accused came around noon and one of them sneaked inside the bank.
As the security personnel got suspicious, they closed the gate of the bank. The accused then opened fire at them. Two security personnel sustained bullet injuries.
Hearing the gunshots, residents of Kahnor village assembled outside the bank and overpowered one of the accused.
Police said that special teams have been dispatched for nab the remaining two accused, after registering an attempt to murder case against them.
