Auto Expo 2014: Nissan Sunny facelift unveiledNissan India today unveiled the much awaited Sunny facelift with some vital alterations at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo. With a new grille that has three horizontal slats and chrome inserts, new fog lamps, redesigned headlights, front bumper, air dam and chrome ascent, the 2014 Sunny facelift looks more aggressive than before.

Nissan has reworked on the side profile as well, which makes it look more matured this time. It gets new 15-inch alloy wheels, ORVMs with LED turn indicators, new door visor and chrome side moulding. The rear bumper is now in boomerang shape and has dual colour tone effect.


Inside the cabin, the sedan features an updated central console with a 'piano black' cluster, new dashboard, adjustable headrest, steering mounted audio controls, revised gearshift, quality upholstery and stylish chromed door openers. Other features include an automatic climate control with digital display and a 6.1-inch touchscreen DVD player with navigation and Bluetooth support.

The 2014 Nissan Sunny facelift is powered with the same 1.5-litre petrol engine, which is found under the existing generation Sunny. This power-unit makes a peak power output of 97.7bhp with 134Nm of torque. The diesel variant of the new Sunny comes fitted with a 1.5-litre K9K diesel unit that delivers a maximum power of 84.8bhp with 200Nm of torque.
