New Delhi: Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care on Monday posted a 41.82 per cent rise in net profit at Rs. 76.57 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2013.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs. 53.99 crore for the corresponding period a year ago.
Net sales of the company rose to Rs. 570.59 crore during the second quarter, as against Rs. 470.57 crore in the same period of previous year, the company said in a filing to the BSE.
Shares in Procter & Gamble, on Monday, ended at Rs. 3,084.20 apiece on the BSE, down 0.10 per cent from the previous close.
