Popular Russian tipster for smartphone devices, Eldar Murtazin, claims to know the specifications of Samsung's upcoming flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5.
The much-anticipated smartphone from Samsung is said to sport a 5.24-inch AMOLED screen with a long rumoured QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. If the information is said to be true, the Samsung Galaxy S5 would be the second brand to sport such a high resolution display in a smartphone with massive 560ppi. The Vivo Xplay 3S has been noted to be the first smartphone to come with a QHD display, but the device is limited to China region only for now.
Murtazin also added that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will arrive in two storage variants - 32/64GB. The handset is said to arrive in two processor variants - Exynos 6 and Snapdragon 805.
The optics rumoured for the Galaxy S5 include a 16-megapixel rear camera, and a 3.2-megapixel front-facing shooter. The handset will be backed-up by a 3200mAh battery.
The news came via a tweet by Murtazin, that stated: "SGS5 specs. 5.24 inch 2560x1440 560ppi, amoled, 3gb,32/64gb, exynos6 or snapdragon 805, 3.2 front/16mpx main. 3200 mah thats it ;)"
